First Home Owner Grant helps take a load off

Buying your first home is a big deal and can be as stressful as it is exciting. Saving for the deposit is stressful enough, especially if you’re also paying rent and bills on another property.

The First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) is a $10,000 lump sum available when you build your first home* and helps take a load off, often covering things like stamp duty and mortgage fees.

It’s a great way to get you started in the property market and can be used when purchasing a house, unit (or similar dwelling), valued at $750,000 or less.

The grant is offered by the Victorian Government and is a one off offer for first homebuyers purchasing a newly constructed home*, who propose to live in the residence for a minimum of 12 months.

Our friendly team at New Homes Direct can help you apply for the first home buyers grant and finance for your new home.

For more information, so you can get into your new home sooner call us today on (03) 9393 2600This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..">.

* Since July 2013 the First Home Owner Grant has only been available for the purchase of newly constructed homes, not established homes.
